Now that it's summer and my son and I are running around doing different things all day it's easy to get away from good habits. During the school year I always make myself a water bottle and it's gone before the day is over. Before I left for school I had two large glasses, the water bottle, a glass at lunch, and three huge glasses when I got home. I had more than enough of the daily required intake: 8 or 9 cups. But, without a routine schedule I find myself being lazy and not making a water bottle when we go on trips or lay by the pool. This is so much more essential that I get enough fluids because I'm on the go and usually doing something outside in the heat. As I've said time and time again, getting enough fluids throughout the day is vital towards a successful weight loss. According to The Weight Loss Guide,
when you burn fat it releases waste products. You need to stay hydrated in order to flush these waste products out of your system. The liver is what helps process the fat. The more dehydrated you are the less likely your liver is going to be able to burn the fat. Lastly, if you exercise it's no secret that you're burning fat and gaining muscle. in order to fuel the muscle, your body must have enough water.
I need to make a more conscious effort to get back to drinking my usual daily intake that I had while I was working. I think if i just wake up and make a water bottle like I always do when I'm working this may help me stick better to my recommended daily intake.
