Tips for dining out:
1. Avoid foods that are described as fried, battered, buttered, creamy, oil, and/or cheesy
2. Ask waiter to eliminate foods cooked in oil and butter (particularly fish)
3. If you're going to eat a salad make sure it is without cheese and bacon
4. Order light dressing - if there isn't one opt for salsa, vinegar, or lemon
5. STAY AWAY FROM THE ROLLS OR BREAD
6. Make sure you have a starch with your salad (ie rice or a baked potato)
7. Eat half of a main entree dish and save the rest for tomorrow (or as I like to do - give it to my husband)
8. Stay clear of high fat meats such as beef or pork
9. Avoid appetizers and desserts unless it's veggies for an appetizer or sugar-free hot chocolate for dessert

Jenny Craig Meatball Stuffed Sandwich (I get a 30% discount so of course I'm going to use my easy frozen meals on JC)
Dinner -
DINED OUT: O'Charley's
Taco Chicken Salad (omitted cheese, 1/2 of chicken, and most of taco strips)
1/2 small bowl of rice
Snack -
Apple
1 cup sugar-free hot chocolate
Skinny Cow/Vanilla
