My husband got me horseback riding lessons for my birthday.  He and his family are big into horses so it was important to him since I showed an interest in it to learn more about it.  I'm a little fearful of horses but they are beautiful and I would love to learn how to ride and be more educated on taking care of them.  My first lesson was last week and I loved it.  My instructor was informative, patient, and extremely encouraging.  She made me feel like I really did do a good job (everyone needs positive reinforcement when they are trying something new and most likely feeling insecure).  I did 15 minutes of grooming, 30 minutes of learning how to post, and 15 minutes of cool down.  This was a different kind of exercise, more strength training than anything but I sure was covered in sweat!  My muscles still felt sore the next day! I looked it up and based on my height and weight I only burned about 140 calories which leads me to my point that you STILL need cardio!  Just because you sweat doesn't mean you're necessarily getting the fat burning workout that your body needs!

Leftover grilled veggies

Apple

Dinner -

JC Mac & Cheese

Salad (mixed greens, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes) 2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack -

JC Triple Chocolate Cheesecake
