Water Safety

Never leave pets unsupervised around a swimming pool. Not all dogs are good swimmers. Introduce them gradually to water and make sure to use a flotation device especially on a boat. There are flotation devices available specifically for dogs. Be sure to rinse their fur off after swimming to remove chlorine or salt water. Try to prevent them from drinking pool water as chlorine can lead to stomach upset.
