Mental health is just as important as your physical health.  We have had so many rainy, grey days here in Cincinnati that it has been pretty gloomy.  Ha, as I type this blog today it's raining as well.  The sun was out and shining on Saturday.  My husband watched our son while I cut the grass.  I was out there for as long as possible cutting every last possible square inch just so I could soak up all the sunshine.  The warmth felt so good on my face.  Such a pretty day had me in great spirits and

I felt so completely relaxed and at peace with the world.  It was such an incredible feeling.  Taken from an excerpt from the newsletter,

Often, negative events in our lives can have disastrous consequences for our physical health. How many times has an emotional moment lead to a self-imposed exile on the couch with a pint of ice cream and a delivered pizza?

So much of how we feel is determined by how we think and what we believe. If we allow ourselves to wallow in negativity and focus on what is wrong, we can't possibly enjoy vibrant mental health and will never achieve complete body health. On the other hand, a positive attitude and true faith in your own vibrant health can make all the difference.



 

It will be a lot harder to maintain a healthy body if your mind isn't healthy as well.  So, keep being positive, get out and enjoy a little sunshine...lol, well when the weather permits you to! Undecided
