A lot of schools are out on spring break now.  My school isn't off until the week before Easter.  I'm actually glad we're not off yet because the weather is supposed to be so miserable the next few days.  The lucky ones are those that get to go somewhere warm for break!  But, being somewhere warm reminds me of swimsuit season and oh goodness, my body is NOWHERE near ready!  Maybe it was a good thing to have a baby in October because I've had the entire winter and spring to work on it.  Good news is that I lost two pounds this week!  Whooo!!  - that's even with a cold and all the medicine I've been taking.  This leads me to my next thought...what kind of swimsuit would hide my pooch that was created from a huge baby boy?!  Definitely not ready for the oh so cute Victoria Secret suits I have.  I think the best would probably be a tankini, one-piece that's asymmetrical, or a one piece rouched around the mid-section.  I just googled it and of course, one of my top searches was Bethenny Frankel!  She was a size 4 just weeks after having her baby.  Seriously?  I was proud of getting back into my size 6, 5 months later darn it!  I should not read about the stars and their fabulous metabolisms...it only makes me jealous!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Katie, this is Sarah's friend Anita from Cleveland.  I know we've only met a handful of times.  I just wanted to make a comment on how stars loose weight so quickly, most if not all of them probably have a personal chef and personal trainer along with a nanny to take care of their child when they are working out in the gym for 20 hours a day...so that's how they get to be back to such a tiny size within a short couple months of having a baby!!  I think the way they can do it is not realistic for the average woman.  You are doing a terrific job and honestly in pictures I have seen of you, you look amazing post baby!!  Keep up the good work!

Awww thank you Anita!  It's terrible to see how fast they lose it and it makes perceptions completely unrealistic of what a normal person should lose.  My mind tells me it is absurd but some crazy part of my brain kept hoping it would be different.  LOL, it has been a challenge all my life why would it be any different this time?  At least this time the weight was from having a baby and I've learned healthy ways to achieve the loss.  Thanks so much for your post.  Smile
