Wedding Blog Continued...

Have you started looking for your wedding dress yet?  I really believe that once you find "the one" you'll know.  When I got engaged I wasn't even really looking for a dress and somehow it seemed to find me.  I was looking for bridesmaid dresses with my best friend because she was getting married in 6 months.  My Mom happened to get invited to do a mother/daughter day with her mom.  We all decided "just for fun" to also try on a few wedding dresses.  You wouldn't believe my shock and embarrassment at the sizes I had to get:  14...some were even a 16!  I had already been on JC for quite a few months and was probably in a size 10 for regular clothes by this point.  I was having fun trying on dresses but the weight issue still couldn't be swept away even on such a monumentous occasion.  How sad, right?  But, I want to assure you ladies, wedding dresses usually run two sizes bigger.  Who cares about the number?  I'll be honest when I say I did.  I actually took pride in the fact that I kept losing and the seamstress had to take a bunch in by the day of our wedding.  It makes me so mad looking back that the ugly issue of weight still constantly kept creeping up.  Try to enjoy your day and not be consumed with the numbers.  You will be beautiful no matter what.

Dinner -

JC Rising Crust Pizza

Salad with peppers and mushrooms; 2 tbsp. light southwestern ranch

Snack -

JC Triple Chocolate Cheesecake
