If you are bothered with clogged sinuses, doctors at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons say it can be relieved by simply rubbing the acupressure point on either side of your nose.  Put your index finger on either side of your nose, right next to each nostril.  Press and rub the spot for 30 seconds.  Doing this will clear your sinus for up to an hour.  To a severe sinus sufferer, even a moment of relief must feel like nirvana!  It’s worth a try.

Breakfast-

11/2 cup egg whites (180 cal)

1 piece Ezekial toast with 1 tbls organic almond butter, 1/2 banana (210 cal) 

A.M. Snack-

whey protein shake (125 cal)

1 cup non-fat cottage cheese ( 80 cal) 

 Lunch-

6 oz mahi mahi, celery, red onion italian spices, 1 tsp EVOO, 1 tsp red wine vinegar served in lettuce wraps made of romaine lettuce ( or you could use bibb, or ridichio) (280 cal)

 P.M. Snack-

1 tangarine (55 cal)

Dinner- restaurant

Southwest flank steak, 1 sliced green pepper, 1 sliced red pepper, 1/2 sliced yellow pepper, 1 wedge of sweet onion, 5 oz rare flank steak, oregano, spices (260 cal)

1 cup brown rice ( 210 cal)

1tbls 0% Greek yogurt ( instead of sour cream) 1/2 diced avacado, 1/4 cup chopped tomato(140 cal)

Dessert:

homemade popcorn  (90 cal) 

TOTAL CALORIES- 1630
