Its been three full weeks since I started the three month program of doing the P90X tapes.  I have really enjoyed the new challenges that these tapes bring to my workout.  I have seen some results but am still following the workout plan, hoping to see still bigger results in my abs and endurance.

The tapes are quite expensive, but I believe that the renewed enthusiasm that I have experienced can be achieved by just trying any new workout DVD, or new type of class (like Zumb, kickboxing, spinning or water aerobics).  I was at Half Price Books and found many great titles available for a discounted rate.  I have also found some DVD's at our public library.  If you've found a really motivating instructor on a tape, please e-mail back at the bottom of this blog, and share that information with all of our readers in our 500 YourCity.MD cities.

 Workout  01/18/11: Tuesday

P90X tape- 45  minutes ,yoga

spinning class- 45 minutes

Food Diary 01/18/11: Tuesday

Breakfast-

1 piece Ezekial toast, no-calorie butter spray(80 cal)

1.5 cup organic egg whites, 1 cup organic spinach, 1 oz non-fat feta (170 cal)

A.M. Snack-

protein shake, 1/2 cup pasturized egg whites (185 cal)

 Lunch- 

 4oz orange roughy (100 cal)

salad- 2 cups organic spinach, 3 oz orange sweet pepper, cherry tomatoes, 4 asparagus, no-calorie Walden Farms salad dressing( 88 cal)

2 oz quinoa  (120 cal)

P.M. Snack-

2 oz adamame ( 110 cal)

Dinner- 

4 oz lamb chop, rosamary (150 cal)

1 cup brussel sprouts, scallions, garlic, EVOO (84 cal)

1 cup wild rice, slivered almonds (210  cal) 

Dessert- 

1/4 cup  of high fiber cereal (49 cal)

greek yogurt (90 cal)

TOTAL CALORIES-1387
