10/28/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 28. October 2013 19:48

Continued from 10/27/10.  As I wrote yesterday, everyone was expecting me to be really irritated with my doctor.  I mean yes, it was annoying waiting that long and frustrating that my son's hematoma may have been from this but at the same time that's just my doctor.  That may sound like an excuse, however, I don't know many doctors with terrific bedside manners these days.  It is apparent by my family's long list of medical problems that many of our doctors are more worried about how many patients they see for the day because it all results in money.  But, my OB/GYN is one of my favorite people - I was so comforted when she arrived.  She discovered my endometriosis when I was 19 and she takes the time to actually listen to all her patients.  She has a practice across the hospital and I'm sure she was chatting too long with a patient which was why she was late delivering our son.  I love my doctor so much that it trumps my irritation.  To be continued...
