Hello, everyone!  I'm back today as promised.  My son is out of the Special Care Nursery as of yesterday afternoon.  Life is good! :)  I told you once I was blogging again I would make sure to tell my labor and delivery experience.  I'm going to tell you in parts each day as it is a long story!  

Remember that over a week ago on October 11th it was my due date?  I was very crabby about there being no progress on the stress test and ultrasound at the doctor's office.  I felt hopeless thinking my son was so snug in my belly that he would never come out.  That night I went to sleep with a checklist a mile long of all the things I still needed to do at school before I gave birth.  Little did I know that at 1 am I was going to start having contractions.  I had taken Tylenol PM to knock myself out and make sure I got enough sleep for school the next day since sleeping was few and far between being so uncomfortable.  I have loved Tylenol PM throughout my pregnancy (which my doctors said it was OK to take) and I was kind of shocked that some false labor contractions were able to disrupt my Tylenol cocktail.  They started out harmless enough.  Very short and mild - comparable to a very bearable menstrual cramp.  However, they continued mildly nine times throughout the next hour.  I kept having a contraction and immediately falling back asleep.  It kept occurring to me how unusual it was that they were coming so frequently.  I remembered that sometimes they go away if you get up, change positions, and walk around...so walk around I did.  To no avail, they kept on coming.  TO BE CONTINUED...

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast - 

SmartOnes English Muffin, Egg, and Cheese

Apple

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

3 oz. ham, mustard, fat-free cheese, 100 calorie Bagel Thin

Fat-free yogurt

Carrots

Snack - 

Peach

Dinner - 

2 oz. whole wheat pasta, 1 cup organic fat-free alfredo sauce, broccoli 

Snack - 

Skinny Cow
