9/27/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Monday

Yesterday was a miserable day for me.  I think I just did too much - we went on a long hike, shopping at the grocery store, and to my father-in-law's birthday party.  Since I'm so large in the belly I just feel pretty uncomfortable.  After we had gone to the grocery store I started having those annoying Braxton-Hicks which are extremely uncomfortable; sometimes pretty painful.  I think due to the pain I came straight home and fell asleep.  I was exhausted from just the exercise and the grocery store.  When I feel badly I think this is when I start to get a little depressed.  I get impatient about the impending arrival of our baby and want him to just come out.  I crave for some kind of normalcy with my body.  I get frustrated that it has become difficult to shave my legs or put lotion on them.  I'm so excited to meet our son that it honestly has made me crabby!  I'm not kidding - I literally feel as though I'm going through the motions of everyday just to get to sleep so I can conquer yet another day that gets me closer to my due date.

MONDAY

Breakfast - 

1 serving of Fiber One Pancakes with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup

1 Banana

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

Lean Cuisine Pizza

Carrots

Fat-free yogurt

Snack - 

Apple

1 slice whole wheat bread with 2 tbsp. peanut butter

Snack - 

1/8 slice of fat-free angel food cake
