9/16/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

Today I went in for my first appointment of my last month where you start going weekly.  Everything looks good so far!  The baby's heartbeat was normal and my doctor if she were to guess, thinks he's about 5 pounds.  I'm also 1 centimeter dialated.  Yeah, yeah, for all of you out there that are not new to this experience I'm sure you're thinking big deal.  I could be dialated at 1 cm for the next month.  But, for me, it symbolizes excitement and hopefulness.  It marks, in my opinion, the end of this extremely long process.  Finally, some progress which means we are one step closer to delivery and seeing that baby!!!  I've had a tough pregnancy and I will take any positives that come my way.  It's the little things like this that help keep me going and trying to stay upbeat!
