 We have discussed issues about Type 2 Diabetes before, but it is so important to know the warning symptoms.  Information is the key!  That is why I feel our web site is so important.  You can get hyper-local information about doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, while getting connected with national information in articles about most medical issues.

The signs to watch out for are:

-frequent urination

-blurred vision

-dry, itchy skin

-unexplained weight loss

-cuts that take longer to heal

-decreased energy levels

-change in appetite

-frequent bladder and vaginal infections

-increase thirst and hunger

-increased fatigue

Elliptical- 44 minutes, 4.44 miles

Strength train- legs/biceps (gym) Leg extention- 20lb

biceps row- 15lb (in plie')

glutes-65

hammer curl- 15lb with lunge

leg press- 120 lb

preacher curl- E-Z bar with 40 lb

Seated leg curl- 70 lb

low cable row- 40 lb 

Food Diary 8/31/10: Tuesday

Breakfast-

1 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt (80 cal)

1 cup organic egg whites, 1 cup organic spinach, 2 brocolli pieces (140 cal)

whole wheat toast, 1 tbls no-sugar added jam (100 cal)

A.M. Snack-

protein shake (77 cal)

 Lunch- 

1/2 cup crab delights ( polluck)(80 cal)

salad- 2 cups organic spinach, 5 asparagus, 1/4 cup green beans, 1/2 red sweet pepper (61 cal) 

P.M. Snack-

1 whole grain tortilla, 2 tbls organic almond butter, apple, sliced ( 277 cal)

Dinner- 

4 oz. salmon  (240 cal)

1/2 cup whole wheat pasta with 4 asparagus spears,2 brocolli florets, 4 cherry tomatos, shaved parmesian, Butter spray (176 cal)

Dessert- 

apple (57 cal)

1/2 oz dark chocolate (over 70% cocoa)(69 cal)

TOTAL CALORIES-1350
