8/14/13- Paula's Eating/Exercise Journal: Saturday

Tonight I hosted all the people involved at YourCity.MD.  This is really an exceptional bunch of people, from our fearless, passionate leader to the CFO, to our head I.T. that keeps the websight up and running, to our sales staff, and our Chief Medical Officer and their wives.  We spent some time understanding the directions that the company is going, how we are able to help those with special need likeGrace from the front of our home page who we're trying to help get enough votes to qualify for a new house to better suit her needs,  and we are all Super Excited

I am very proud to be a part of this group and am very thankful that you read my blog, help those in need through our Facebook link, and provide a community forum to discuss medical issues and information. 

A big thanks to everyone!

Saturday 8/14 Workout:

Bike on street- 15.2 miles, 68 minutes

 

Saturday 8/14 Food Diary:

Breakfast-

1/3 cup egg whites, with spinach, asparagus- (105 cal.)

1/2 cup non fat vanilla yogurt, 1/4 cup non fat cottage cheese, 3/4 cup strawberries ( 135 cal.)

A.M. Snack-

1 cup watermelon (25 cal.)

1 plum ( 30 cal.)

Lunch-

(Roast beef sandwich- 3 oz rare raost beef, low fat whole wheat, raw horsradish, tomato, lettuce ( 250 cal.)

P.M. Snack- 

grapefruit, peeled ( 40 cal.)

12 almonds, roasted, no salt ( 125 cal.)

Dinner- Hosted YourCity.MD corporate dinner

Appetiser- raw tuna steak with mango, wasagi, lite soy sauce

Salad- watermelon, crab meat, fig vinegar, olive iol, feta cheese

4 oz Filet mignon

1 cup grilled assorted veggies ( yellow squash, zuchinni, onions, asparagus )

 2 glasses wine

Dessert-

Peach cobbler, one bite brownies (guests brought both.  Yum)
