One of my good friends is getting married in two weeks! Fitting into the bridesmaid dress certainly has been a challenge. I went from having the smallest dress (before I was pregnant) to one of the largest. Luckily none of the dresses fit the girls quite right and we were able to mix and match. It is an empire waist dress which is somewhat better but still tricky because the sash under the breast bone is still quite tight - there's not much give to it. When I brought it in last week to see if the seamstress could add some kind of material to make it expand she said absolutely not. She didn't even want to see me until the week of the wedding because that's when she was going to make some changes. I'm kind of freaking out that in two more weeks my belly will be so big that the sash will no longer fit. The seamstress swears I won't get that much bigger in two weeks but I'm not so sure. LOL, I could look like a pink watermelon walking down the aisle. I love getting all "girlied" up for weddings but being a blimp for this one makes me bummed out. A few drinks at weddings plus dancing are one of my favorite things to do. I just hope I am able to dance, although, a day full of hair, make-up, pictures, and a ceremony could leave me pretty exhausted and my "under-belly" could be in a ton of pain by then from no support. I'll have to let you know how the night goes... SATURDAY Breakfast - 1 packet no sugar-added oatmeal with 1/4 cup raisins 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - DINED OUT turkey flatbread with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mustard Snack - Nectarine 100 calorie pack Dinner - DINED OUT Grilled turkey sandwich with sauerkraut (no sauce) Salad (iceberg, cheese, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers) red pepper light dressing
