Yesterday afternoon was our big ultrasound where we find out if it's a boy or girl.  I have been looking forward to this day since we found out we were pregnant.  I'm going to be honest, I was really hoping for a girl.  I can't help it, I'm pretty "girly girl" and I was exicted to be able to buy pretty clothes and toys.  But, who am I to decide what my little girl would want - maybe she would be more of a "tom boy" and not be interested in any of those things.  It definitely could happen...take me for example, my Mom wanted me to be more of a "tom boy" she was worried about society playing a role later in life for eating disorders and body image problems.  In fact, she would probably be appalled that I used so many gender labels in this blog!  I turned out to be exactly what she tried to avoid, a lover of dresses, nail polish, make-up, and Barbies!  So boy was I surprised when the nurse told us yesterday that we are having...A BOY!  Initially for moment I was disappointed and then it faded back into excitement.  I'm just happy he appears to be a healthy baby of 10 oz.  I couldn't ask for anything better.  I just needed to change my mind set away from girl clothes and decorations to more boy accented things.  I'm so thankful that we have a healthy baby boy!  Laughing

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast -

Jenny Craig Breakfast Stuffed Sandwich

3/4 cup of strawberries

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch -

Michelina's Lean Gourmet Macaroni & Cheese

Carrots

Fat-free yogurt

Snack -

Plum

Dinner -

2 oz. grilled chicken

1/2 cup Idaho Mashed Potatoes

Broccoli with 1 tbsp. margarine

Snack -

100 calorie popcorn
