I have a few friends who are also pregnant right now which makes it nice because we can trade aches, pains, and stories.  I had no idea until I got pregnant what a "hot topic" breastfeeding is!  It certainly gets people fired up!  This shocks me because I'm such a laid back, to each her own, kind of person.  Who do people think they are to try and tell you what you should do?  My friend had a relative come up to her and say, "You really should breastfeed even if it's only for a little bit."  Wow, I think this is such a personal choice, and it really does blow me out of the water that someone thinks they can impress their views on others.  I guess I think it's such a private thing and more power to the Mom that wants to do it and as well as the Mom that opts not to.  I have heard positive and negative experiences from each.  I have had a breast reduction and it was made known to me at my first consultation that I probably would not be able to breastfeed.  Now I admit, what 21 year old can make that decision if nowhere in her right mind she's even able to think of conceiving?!  However, I have heard a lot of horror stories about the pain and hassle and so I thought, "Oh well, the size of my boobs is ridiculous - get rid of them."  It's interesting to me because my OB has basically said the same, you can try but most likely nothing will come out.  LOL, then there are the hospital nurses that read my information and FREAK OUT because I put that I'm not going to breastfeed.  I have already had two phone calls convincing me otherwise.  In my opinion, I've educated myself and it's a personal choice, let it go people...

MONDAY

Breakfast -

Jenny Craig Breakfast Stuffed Sandwich

Banana

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch -

1 Gardenburger on a whole wheat bun with pickles, tomato, and lettuce

Fat-free yogurt

Snack -

1 cup strawberries

Dinner -

1 small baked potato, 2 oz. grilled chicken

Salad (mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers) 2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack -

100 calorie pack
