I am on my last day of week 13 and I'm STILL puking. Some women have told me that they were puking up until six months or even their entire pregnancy! You've got to be kidding! I guess I'm going to need to suck it up and be thankful for the "good" days. Things could always be worse. My friend's baby shower was today, she's 34 weeks pregnant. When I say things could always be worse I think of her...she is so swollen from water weight. She can hardly walk and only has one pair of shoes (flip flops) that she is able to wear now. Her legs, feet, and toes are all so swollen three sizes too big and there are red creases from her ankle to feet because they are so enlarged. She is in terrible pain and usually goes to bed early to try and forget about it. Sadly, she still has a month and a half until her baby boy arrives. I only hope and pray I do not have to go through this. Who ever said pregnancy was easy?! SATURDAY Breakfast - 3/4 Bran Flakes with 1/4 organic raisins Banana 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 2 tbsp. hummus with 1/2 whole wheat pita, cucumbers, and tomatoes Fat-free yogurt Sugar-free pudding Dinner - DINED OUT Small square of lasagna (meatless) Salad (mixed greens, peppers, cranberries, tomatoes) 2 tbsp. light Garlic Expressions Snack - 100 calorie pack
