4/6/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Tuesday

Yesterday I wrote that I am 13 weeks pregnant.  Keep in mind - my diet has changed, ever-so-slightly, to ensure the baby is getting enough calories.  If you were wondering why I've been feeling so sick and sluggish the past few months...now you know!  We've had a lot of trials and tribulations with the endometriosis that I did not want to announce the pregnancy until I was more safely along.  I have definitely had a "fun" time the past 12 weeks.  The nausea was/is unreal!  I was puking almost everyday, sick all the way until I went to bed.  Just within the past few days has the nausea improved.  I still puke almost every morning but then I am able to function until I go to bed without feeling like I'm going to puke everytime I even move!  Hopefully this slight improvement means that things are slowly going to get better!  Luckily I have a pretty incredible husband who has done all the grocery shopping, cleaning of the house, and just in general, taking care of me.  He has been the incredible human being that has helped get me through all of this!

TUESDAY

Breakfast -

3/4 cup of Bran Flakes with 1/4 cup raisins

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch -

SmartOne's Fettucine Alfredo

Carrots

Fat-free yogurt

Snack -

1 cup strawberries

Dinner -

2 oz. ground turkey burger over 2 oz. whole wheat pasta, spinach, mushrooms, and parmesean cheese

Broccoli with 1 tbsp. margarine

Snack -

100 calorie pack
