3/26/13- Paula's Eating/Exercise Journal: Friday

I don’t typically watch t.v. during the day. I’m always either doing kid stuff, working out, cleaning, or running errands…but I was using the t.v. as background one day when Oprah was on.  She talked in her show about what she called “omentum” (intra-abdominal fat that surrounds the organs in the abdomen and torso).

Her point was that it’s not just the overweight that has this problem.  Even women who appear to be of “normal” weight can have excess fat here (especially apple shaped women or those that have excess fat across the abdomen primarily).

But, through regular exercise and not eating more calories than expended (clean eating), you can make a change in this condition for the better.
