Vacation: Part 2-

The flight threw me for a loop.  It was EXTREMELY turbulent, and I’m not that steady a flyer on a good day (ask my kids), though I’ve flown my whole life.  By the time we landed (and the whole plane clapped), U was feeling ready for a glass of wine.  After the normal process of settling in (hotels never seem to live up to their web hype), we ran upstairs for dinner.  We were pretty good, filet mignon, veggies and 2 wines.  I don’t drink that much at home, so it’s interesting to see how the sugar and alcohol in the wine affects my system.  By the end of this day, I was spent (though working out  this  morning before we left helped in the stresses I experienced today).  Ready to take a deep breath, roll my neck, and appreciate that we are in a financial position to take a few days away.  Just relax. 

 

 

Sunday 3/21 Workout-

recumbent bike-30 minutes

 Sunday 3/21 Food Diary:out of town 

Breakfast-

Breakfast bar at hotel

Granola mixed with cherrioslox on whole wheat toast with cream cheese

Lunch-

Salad with grilled chicken strips

carott cake

 P.M. Snack-

apple

Dinner-

2 glasses wine

8 oz filet mignon steak

steamed clams 

brocolli

Dessert-

split chocolate cake
