3/13/13-Paula's Eating/Exercise Journal: Saturday

The issues of insurance premiums, deducible, co-pays, and benefits…give me a headache.  I’m getting enormous bills from my recent colonoscopy (which I thought would primarily be covered by my 1000+ per month health insurance coverage).

With all this national news reporting about Obama’s national insurance coverage, I have to ask “Who can figure all this out?”  I hate to share my political views on this, but, I have no faith hat a change to ‘nationally run health care” will work.  When I want to go to a doctor, I want a supremely qualified doctor, who is interested in patient care.  What doctor would want to participate in a national health care program, getting paid even less than what they are reimbursed now? This topic is so controversial, complicated, convoluted, and debatable, it’s hard to see how this issue will be resolved (I know! More questions…no answers.  Sorry) *I want to say that these are just MY thoughts, and don’t reflect any ‘views’ of YourCity.MD
