2/20/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Saturday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 20. February 2013 22:56

Yesterday I mentioned that veggies are repulsing me.  Not only am I fighting that battle, but the only food that I am willing to eat right now are bagels.  This is a huge problem because as I have mentioned in the past, on the "list of Jenny Craig no-no's" bagels is at the top.  I begged my consultant to even let me get one of those teeny, weeny bagels with fat-free cream cheese and her answer was an assertive no.  This is unfortunate for me because they were probably my favorite food from my "larger days."  I must be a little sick of my whole diet right now to not want any foods besides a bagel.  This tells me something drastically has to change.  I go to see my consultant next Thursday; hopefully she will offer me some guidance on how to change things up so I am not so bored with my daily foods.  I also have a feeling she may tell me to "splurge."  Jenny Craig actually condones an occasional splurge in order to enjoy yourself sometimes and get it out of your system.  I may just need to take a trip to Panera and treat myself to a Sesame Bagel with low-fat cream cheese...maybe that will help me get over my craving!
