2/19/2010 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Friday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 19. February 2013 08:45

Have you ever had those moments where nothing appeals to you?  I have had this a few times throughout the past three and a half years since I changed my eating habits.  Unfortunately I'm having it again!  I assume that because my daily food schedule is so predictable that sometimes my body gets sick of eating the same things all the time.  Right now the thought of salad repulses me.  Now that is a problem since I'm supposed to have a veggie with every meal except for breakfast.  Salad was always my favorite veggie to eat.  In fact, right now, all veggies are making me sick.  I'm not sure what I do about this since Jenny Craig says it's a MUST to get enough "healthy calories" per day.  I tried changing it up and cooking a green bean casserole (virtually fat-free) instead.  But, nope, this repulsed me, too.  You're probably wondering, "well, what do you do?"  Right now the only thing to do is force myself to eat them.  I make myself eat five carrots for lunch and right now because carrots are all I can get down, I have about five of them for dinner.  Do whatever you need to do to get enough veggies per day until the feeling passes.  Hopefully mine will pass sooner rather than later.
