Tip #3 for fitting into your swimsuit this summer: Don't let friends peer pressure you at social events.  This weekend I am going to the Smoky Mountains with a large group of our friends.  This is the 7th year we have done this on Valentine's weekend.  It's an absolute blast but let's just say, most of my friends don't have quite the healthy eating habits we do.  Some of them don't eat enough, while others just make the wrong food choices.  Don't get me wrong, we are on vacation and splurging a little bit is definitely ok, however, eating at all times of the night, ordering high-fat food at restaurants, and drinking ourselves into a coma is NOT going to help take away the bulge.  Friends will always say, "You don't need to worry about - you're already so tiny, OR, we're on vacation can't you ever relax?"  Hell yeah I can relax but there's a difference between relaxing and letting myself go to pot.  I really don't feel like spending the next two months working off what I gained from four days.  It's not worth it to me.  If your friends want to eat themselves into oblivion that is there choice; but, why erase all the hard work you've already done just to fit in and succumb to temptation?  Stay strong and eat how/want YOU want - not because someone else talked you into it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

FRIDAY

Breakfast - 

2 clementine's

2 Kashi Waffles with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

DINED OUT DUE TO TRAVELING (SUBWAY)

Veggie flatbread sandwich (tons of veggies and spicy mustard)

Jenny Craig Vitamin Bar

Snack - 

Apple

Dinner - 

1 small whole wheat bun with 2 oz. grilled chicken, 1/4 cup pizza sauce

Salad (romaine, tomato, croutons) 2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack - 

100 calorie pack
