Snow day!  Teachers certainly work extremely hard and typically much longer than a 9-5 hour day.  But, if we are going to get very little pay at least we still get to have snow days occasionally!  Today was my day to workout since I'm trying to do the every other day routine.  Since I was off school I had the luxury of going on a hike with my dogs and husband...one of my favorite ways to get a good workout without even thinking about it!  The snow has been falling since about 8 this morning and hasn't stopped since.  It is so beautiful when it comes down - especially at night.  Our black labs look almost white by the time we are finished.  It gives me such happiness to see them playing and romping in the snow.  The best is when they think they smell something and bury their faces.  They come up with little white beards.  What a fun way to take care of my workout for the day!

We hiked for about 50 minutes and I was exhausted by the time we were done.  Tromping through about 3 inches of snow and a little ice gave my legs terrific exercise.

 

 

 

 

 

TUESDAY

Breakfast - 

2 slices of wheat bread (80 cal, 1g fat) with 1 Morning Star Veggie Sausage and 1/4 cup Break-free eggs

Banana

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

1 cup organic Cuban Black Bean Soup (450 mg of sodium)

Steamable Broccoli and Cauliflower with Spray Butter

fat-free yogurt

sugar-free jello

Snack - 

2 clementines

Dinner - 

2 oz. whole wheat pasta with broccoli, 1 tsp. olive oil, and 1/4 cup fat-free cheese

2 oz. turkey burger

Salad (mixed greens, pepper, mushrooms, croutons)

2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack - 

1 packet no sugar added hot chocolate

100 calorie pack

This is very interesting especially because its about what should i eat?. Mosty other topics tend to be boring
