Today I had my challenges ahead of me.  I had a baby shower during lunch and I knew there weren't going to be any healthy options.  It was also my Dad's birthday.  The baby shower had some of my favorites: cupcakes, sugar cookies, hummus, pita chips, and bagels...yum! I was extremely tempted but I made sure to eat a late breakfast so I came on a full stomach.  Hooray I feel like I tackled a small feat because I survived the shower and did not do any grazing!  

My Dad wanted homemade mashed potatoes (another favorite of mine!) with a chicken cooked in a white wine, sour cream, and cream of mushroom sauce.  My Mom brought a homemade Dutch Apple Pie.  It's hard when I'm making something homemade not to taste test it; it's especially hard when I taste test it and it's delicious so it makes me crave it more.  But, I had one taste of the mashed potatoes and that was it.  If I gain tomorrow then it's pretty much out of my control because I tried extremely hard and I think I did a great job.  Homemade dishes are the hardest to refrain from...

SUNDAY

Breakfast - 

Jenny Craig Frosted Oats Cereal

Banana

1 cup fat-free milk

Lunch - 

7 grilled chicken nuggets (190 cal, 3.5g fat)

Cucumber and tomatoes with fat-free Italian

fat-free yogurt

sugar free jello 

Snack - 

Plum

Dinner - 

2 oz. baked chicken

small baked potato (I ate a little differently than my family tonight)

Eggplant cooked with Pam on the skillet with Spray butter

Snack - 

90 cal Healthy Choice Fudge Bar

Sugar free hot chocolate
