Cold & Flu: Part 1:

The media coverage for the H1N1 virus has created a frenzy of fear and panic across communities nationwide.  Many people say that the fear is warranted, while others believe the media has blown the reality of the risks way out of proportion.

They are providing shots at grade and high schools in many school systems.  My daughter's high school has had around 6 cases of H1N1, but none of them severe.

Many people are concerned that there is not enough long-term data to support the risks of putting this 'live virus' in one's system, or to give to small children with developing immune systems.

On media coverage, many doctors are shown getting the shot and recommending it to the audience.  The people at most risk for H1N1 are small children, pregnant women, people with long term health issues and the older population.

Investigate the facts, and read the different opinion's being discussed.  Read some of the articles provided through the One-Click-Relief- Center and judge the merits of the facts.

Tomorrow we'll discuss ideas to sooth your sore throat if you do catch a cold or flu.
