 I must apologize to you for not being as consistent with my blogs.  Two weeks ago we moved out to the country and didn't have internet until a week ago.  Then, just when I thought I was getting back into my groove my Mom went into the hospital.  Other than my husband she is my best friend.  I have been so distracted and upset since I heard the news.  My Dad is getting back surgery in a few weeks and can hardly walk.  He cannot sit with her in the hospital for long periods of time.  Between trying to take care of my parents and open house after school I've been rather stressed and busy.  Hopefully things can start to calm down and life can have a little routine to it again!  I try to tell myself things could always be worse...

 Today my husband and I watched his half-sisters again.  I must say, they are the love of our lives and it gives us so much happiness to be out on our farm with them.  Tonight we dug holes in the ground and planted flowers.  It was so incredible to watch the girls get dirty and involved!  I don't think I would have been interested in that at all at their age.  A memory that I will remember forever is how much they wanted to go on a hike with us and the dogs after dinner.  It blew me away - the girls ran up and down the driveway with our dogs (which is about a mile long) several times.  I was exhausted by the time they went to bed!  They were so excited to just spend quality time with us racing to the mailbox and back.  Our dogs were in absolute heaven.  The best thing about it is that we were active all evening and it wasn't even "work," my favorite kind of exercise!  Kids definitely keep you active don't they?

Breakfast - 

3/4 cup Kashi Warm Cinnamon Cereal

Banana

1 cup fat-free organic milk

1 Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte

Lunch - 

4 Boca Chick n' Nuggets 

Carrots

2 tbsp. fat-free ranch

6 oz. fat-free yogurt

sugar-free jello

Snack -

1 cup grapes

Dinner - 

8 organic wedge fries

1 Portabella Gardenburger

Salad (mixed greens, croutons, parmesan cheese)

2 tbsp. light sweet vidalia onion dressing

Snack - 

100 calorie pack
