Do you have a dental bridge with a tooth that looks fake? Dr. Fred Peck

When a tooth is removed the bone around the tooth collapses along with the gum tissue. The reaming gum looks like it is caved in compared to the adjacent teeth. This can be prevented by placing a bone graft in the tooth socket ("hole") where the tooth was. The procedure is very simple for the patient for a nice aesthetic result at the end. But what is this was not done when the tooth was removed and it shows when you smile? What can be done if that tooth is in the front and looks fake because it does not appear to be coming out of the gum tissue like a normal tooth? Today a special type of gum graft can be done to restore the natural beauty that patients desire. Often that involves replacing the bridge, but the end result can be well worth it to restore your smile.
